Ottolax is an AI-powered office automation platform built specifically for digital agencies. Instead of hiring more staff to manage growing client workloads, Ottolax deploys teams of specialized AI agents that handle SEO, paid advertising, content creation, reporting, and client communications on your behalf.
Each agent is purpose-built for a specific function — one might monitor your Google Ads campaigns while another generates weekly performance reports for clients. These agents work together as coordinated teams, sharing context and handing off tasks seamlessly, so your agency can scale operations without scaling headcount.
With 70+ integrations, a built-in client portal, and self-healing architecture that recovers automatically from errors, Ottolax gives agencies the operational capacity of a much larger team. Get started free at app.ottolax.com.
Ottolax agents are autonomous AI workers that understand context, make decisions, and execute multi-step workflows without manual intervention. Unlike simple automations that follow rigid if/then rules, our agents use large language models to interpret data, adapt to changing conditions, and handle edge cases intelligently.
Here is how it works in practice:
- You define the objective — for example, “Monitor all client Google Ads campaigns and alert me if cost-per-lead exceeds the target by 20%.”
- The agent connects to your tools — it authenticates with Google Ads, your CRM, Slack, or any of our 70+ integrations.
- It executes continuously — the agent checks campaign data on your schedule, analyzes performance against benchmarks, and takes the action you specified (send an alert, pause a campaign, generate a report).
- It learns from feedback — agents store knowledge from previous tasks in Ottolax’s built-in knowledge system, improving their accuracy and relevance over time.
Agents can work individually or as coordinated teams where one agent’s output feeds into another’s workflow, creating powerful end-to-end automation chains.

Ottolax offers a free tier so you can explore the platform and test AI agents with no commitment. The free plan includes access to core features with usage limits that work well for solo operators or agencies just getting started with AI automation.
For agencies that need higher usage limits, advanced agent capabilities, priority support, and team collaboration features, we offer paid plans starting at competitive monthly rates. All paid plans include a free trial period so you can evaluate the full feature set before committing.
Visit our pricing page for current plan details and to find the tier that fits your agency’s needs.
Ottolax takes data security seriously because agencies trust us with access to their clients’ accounts and sensitive business data. Our security measures include:
- Encryption everywhere — All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. API keys and credentials are stored in isolated, encrypted vaults.
- Credential isolation — Each agency’s integration credentials are siloed. No agent or process from one account can ever access another account’s data or API keys.
- Minimal permissions — Agents request only the specific API scopes they need to perform their assigned tasks. You control exactly what each agent can access.
- Audit logging — Every agent action is logged with timestamps, so you have a complete trail of what was done, when, and why.
- Infrastructure security — Our platform runs on SOC 2 compliant infrastructure with automated vulnerability scanning, regular penetration testing, and 99.9% uptime SLA.
We are committed to maintaining the highest security standards as the platform grows. If you have specific compliance requirements, contact our team to discuss your needs.
Yes, absolutely. Ottolax subscriptions are month-to-month with no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel directly from your account settings at any time.
When you cancel, your access continues through the end of your current billing period. Your data and agent configurations are retained for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to export anything you need or reactivate your account if you change your mind.
If you are on an annual plan, you can still cancel at any time — your access will continue through the remainder of your prepaid period.
Ottolax is built with a self-healing architecture designed to handle failures gracefully, so a single error never derails your operations.
When an agent encounters a problem — an API timeout, an unexpected data format, a rate limit — the system responds automatically:
- Automatic retry — The agent retries the failed operation with intelligent backoff, adjusting its approach based on the type of error.
- Fallback strategies — If retries do not resolve the issue, the agent activates predefined fallback workflows. For example, if a reporting API is down, the agent can queue the report and notify you instead of failing silently.
- Error isolation — A failure in one agent does not cascade to other agents or teams. Each agent operates in its own execution context.
- Instant notifications — You receive alerts through your preferred channel (Slack, email, or the Ottolax dashboard) so you are always aware of issues that need human attention.
- Auto-recovery logging — Every failure and recovery is logged in detail, helping the system learn and improve its handling of similar situations in the future.
The goal is simple: your agency’s operations keep running even when individual components hit problems.
No. Ottolax is designed for agency owners and marketing professionals, not developers. The platform uses a visual interface where you configure agents by describing what you want them to do in plain language, selecting integrations from a menu, and setting schedules with simple controls.
You do not need to write code, understand APIs, or have any programming experience. If you can describe a task to a new employee, you can configure an Ottolax agent to do it.
That said, agencies with technical team members can take advantage of advanced features like custom API integrations, webhook configurations, and programmatic agent management through our developer API. The platform scales with your team’s technical sophistication without requiring it as a baseline.
Zapier and Make are excellent tools for connecting apps with rule-based automations — “when X happens, do Y.” They work well for simple, predictable workflows like syncing contacts between two CRMs or sending a Slack message when a form is submitted.
Ottolax operates at a fundamentally different level. Instead of rigid trigger-action chains, Ottolax deploys AI agents that understand context, make judgment calls, and handle complex multi-step workflows that would require dozens of Zapier zaps to approximate (and still fall short).
Key differences:
- Intelligence vs. rules — Ottolax agents analyze data, interpret results, and adapt their behavior. Zapier follows predefined paths with no understanding of what the data means.
- Multi-step reasoning — An Ottolax agent can pull campaign data, identify underperforming keywords, draft optimization recommendations, and send a summary to your client — all in one workflow. In Zapier, this would require multiple zaps, custom code steps, and external AI API calls.
- Self-healing — When something breaks in Zapier, the zap stops and you get an error. Ottolax agents retry intelligently, activate fallbacks, and recover automatically.
- Agency-specific — Ottolax is purpose-built for digital agencies with features like client portals, team billing, and marketing-specific integrations. Zapier is a general-purpose tool.
Many agencies use Ottolax alongside Zapier — simple data syncs stay in Zapier, while complex judgment-heavy workflows run on Ottolax. See our detailed comparison for more.
